Ingredients
- 1 expired frozen pizza
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced bell peppers
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup sliced red onions
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Thaw the expired frozen pizza in the refrigerator overnight.
- Remove the toppings from the pizza and set aside.
- Cut the pizza crust into tortilla-sized rounds.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Place one pizza crust round in the skillet and sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Top with bell peppers, black olives, red onions, and fresh basil.
- Place another pizza crust round on top to form a sandwich.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes, then carefully flip the quesadilla and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and the crust is crispy.
- Repeat with the remaining pizza crust rounds and toppings.
- Remove from the skillet and let cool for a minute before slicing into wedges.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce, such as marinara or ranch.
