Ingredients

  • 10 expired frozen dumplings
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup sliced mixed vegetables (carrots, bell peppers, broccoli, etc.)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

In a large non-stick pan, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium heat.

Add the expired frozen dumplings to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes until the bottoms are golden brown.

Pour 1/4 cup of water into the pan and cover immediately. Steam the dumplings for 6-8 minutes until they are cooked through.

Remove the dumplings from the pan and set aside.

In the same pan, heat the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

Add the minced garlic and sliced vegetables to the pan. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are crisp-tender.

In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Pour the sauce over the stir-fried vegetables and toss to coat.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve the pan-fried dumplings on top of the vegetable stir-fry.
