Ingredients

  • 2 cups expired dry dog food
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated carrots
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, combine the dry dog food and chicken broth. Let it sit for 5 minutes to allow the dog food to soften.

Add the grated carrots, chopped parsley, Parmesan cheese, whole wheat flour, egg, and olive oil to the bowl. Mix well until all the ingredients are combined.

Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through and golden brown.
