Ingredients

  • 200g expired dried salted fish, soaked in water for 30 minutes and drained
  • 1 broccoli, cut into florets
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 carrot, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over high heat.

Add the garlic and stir-fry for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the drained salted fish and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until slightly crispy.

Add the broccoli, bell peppers, and carrot to the pan. Stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

In a small bowl, whisk together oyster sauce, soy sauce, sugar, and water.

Pour the sauce mixture over the vegetables and salted fish. Stir well to coat everything evenly.

Continue stir-frying for another 2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
