Ingredients

  • 200g slightly expired dark chocolate
  • 4 eggs
  • 100g sugar
  • 200ml heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

Melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water.

Separate the egg yolks from the whites.

Whisk the egg yolks with sugar until creamy.

In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.

Fold the melted chocolate into the egg yolk mixture.

Gently fold in the whipped cream and vanilla extract.

In another bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
