Fudgy Brownie Truffles
Make delicious truffles using expired brownie mix. Ensure food safety by properly heating and storing the truffles.
Ingredients
- 1 cup expired brownie mix
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine the expired brownie mix, melted butter, sweetened condensed milk, and cocoa powder.
Mix until well combined and a thick dough forms.
Roll the dough into small truffle-sized balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to firm up the truffles.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval until smooth and melted.
Take the truffles out of the refrigerator and dip each one into the melted chocolate, coating them completely.
Place the coated truffles back on the parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
Refrigerate the truffles for another 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.
Once set, dust the truffles with powdered sugar.
Store the truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Serve chilled and enjoy!
