Yuzu Ponzu Marinated Chicken
Make a flavorful marinade with expired Yuzu Ponzu to tenderize and add a citrusy twist to chicken, ensuring it is thoroughly cooked.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup expired Yuzu Ponzu
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
In a bowl, combine the expired Yuzu Ponzu, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Place the chicken breasts in a resealable bag and pour in the marinade. Seal the bag and gently massage the marinade into the chicken.
Marinate the chicken in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for more flavor.
Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
Remove the chicken from the marinade, letting any excess drip off, and grill for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Discard any remaining marinade.
Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Serve with your choice of sides and enjoy!
