- 2 cups water
- 1 can unopened evaporated milk (past expiration date but safe to consume)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

In a saucepan, combine the uncooked rice and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

Reduce the heat to low, cover the saucepan, and simmer for 15 minutes or until the rice is cooked and the water is absorbed.

Stir in the unopened evaporated milk, sugar, raisins, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon.
