Ingredients

  • 1 can (14 ounces) expired split pea soup
  • 1 cup cooked ham, diced
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.

In a large bowl, combine the expired split pea soup, cooked ham, cooked rice, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Transfer the mixture to the greased baking dish and spread it evenly.

Sprinkle the bread crumbs over the top of the casserole.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is heated through and the bread crumbs are golden brown.
