Ingredients
- 1/2 cup expired uncooked tapioca pearls
- 4 cups water
- 2 tea bags (black, green, or your preferred flavor)
- 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
- 2 tablespoons sweetener of your choice (sugar, honey, agave, etc.)
- Ice cubes

Instructions

In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil.

Add the expired tapioca pearls and cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they become translucent.

Drain the cooked tapioca pearls and rinse them under cold water to remove excess starch.

In a separate saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat and add the tea bags. Steep for 5 minutes, then remove the tea bags.

In a glass or shaker, combine the tea, milk, and sweetener. Stir or shake well to mix.

Fill serving glasses with ice cubes and divide the cooked tapioca pearls among them.

Pour the tea and milk mixture over the tapioca pearls.

Stir gently and serve immediately with a wide straw.
