- 4 cups water
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup fresh tarragon, chopped (expired but safe to consume)
- Ice cubes
- Lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water, sugar, and expired tarragon. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

Once the sugar has dissolved, remove the saucepan from heat and let the tarragon syrup steep for 10 minutes.

Strain the tarragon syrup into a pitcher to remove the tarragon leaves.

Add the remaining 3 cups of water and fresh lemon juice to the pitcher. Stir well to combine.

Refrigerate the tarragon lemonade for at least 1 hour to chill.
