Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons expired sesame oil
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (broccoli, bell peppers, carrots, snap peas, etc.)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, honey, and cornstarch. Set aside.

Heat the expired sesame oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until crisp-tender.

Pour the soy sauce mixture over the vegetables and stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the vegetables.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.
