
Stir-Fried Vegetables with Sesame Oil
A delicious and healthy stir-fry recipe that makes use of expired sesame oil. Please note that the sesame oil needs to be safe for consumption (365 days after expiry).

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons expired sesame oil
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (broccoli, bell peppers, carrots, snap peas, etc.)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, honey, and cornstarch. Set aside.
- Heat the expired sesame oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until crisp-tender.
- Pour the soy sauce mixture over the vegetables and stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the vegetables.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
