Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup expired molasses
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.

In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.

Add the expired molasses, vegetable oil, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas. Mix well.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.

Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
