Ingredients

  • 2 cups expired Kombucha
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons loose leaf tea or 2 tea bags
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil.

Remove from heat and add the loose leaf tea or tea bags.

Steep for 5 minutes, then strain the tea into a heatproof pitcher.

Add the expired Kombucha to the pitcher and stir well.

Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.

When ready to serve, add lemon slices, honey (if desired), and ice cubes to glasses.

Pour the chilled Kombucha tea over the ice and enjoy.
