Jamon Iberico and Manchego Quesadillas
Turn expired Jamon Iberico into a tasty filling for quesadillas, ensuring proper heating to eliminate any potential bacteria.
Ingredients
- 200g expired Jamon Iberico, thinly sliced
- 200g Manchego cheese, grated
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
Place a tortilla flat on a clean surface and sprinkle half of the grated Manchego cheese on one half of the tortilla.
Arrange the thinly sliced Jamon Iberico on top of the cheese.
Fold the other half of the tortilla over the filling to create a half-moon shape.
Heat a large pan or griddle over medium heat and melt half of the butter.
Place the quesadilla in the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and the cheese has melted.
Repeat with the remaining ingredients to make another quesadilla.
Remove from the pan and let it cool for a minute before slicing into wedges.
Serve hot as a flavorful snack or light meal.
