Marinated Grilled Chicken
Transform expired Italian salad dressing into a flavorful marinade for grilled chicken.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup expired Italian salad dressing
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
In a bowl, combine the expired Italian salad dressing, minced garlic, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and massage the chicken to ensure it is coated evenly. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight.
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing any excess to drip off.
Grill the chicken for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
Serve the marinated grilled chicken with your choice of sides and enjoy!
