Ingredients

  • 2 halibut fillets, commercially frozen raw
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

Thaw the halibut fillets according to package instructions.

Pat the halibut fillets dry with paper towels.

Season the halibut fillets with salt and pepper.

Dredge the halibut fillets in flour, shaking off any excess.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the halibut fillets to the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side.

Remove the halibut fillets from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
