Ingredients

  • 200g expired Gloucester Cheese (opened, but safe to consume)
  • 250g pasta
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using) and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the broccoli florets to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender.

Meanwhile, grate the expired Gloucester Cheese.

Add the cooked pasta to the pan with the broccoli. Stir in the grated Gloucester Cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Continue cooking for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until the cheese has melted and coated the pasta and broccoli.
