Ingredients

  • 12 pieces of expired frozen dim sum (any variety)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

Thaw the frozen dim sum according to the package instructions.

In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

Add the bell pepper, carrot, and snap peas to the skillet and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until slightly tender.

Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet and add the minced garlic to the empty space.

Add the thawed dim sum to the skillet in a single layer and pan-fry for 3-4 minutes on each side until crispy and heated through.

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes (if using).

Pour the sauce over the cooked dim sum and vegetables in the skillet.

Stir-fry everything together for another minute to coat the dim sum and vegetables with the sauce.
