Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh cut mangoes
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 inch ginger
  • 2 green chilies
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onions, garlic, ginger, and green chilies. Saute until onions turn golden brown.

Add turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and garam masala. Cook for a minute to release the flavors.

Add fresh cut mangoes and coconut milk. Stir well and bring it to a simmer.

Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes until the mangoes are tender.

Season with salt according to taste.

Garnish with fresh cilantro.

Serve hot with rice or naan.
