- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 2 tablespoons fish sauce (expired but still safe)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 cups cooked rice, for serving

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and sauté for 2 minutes until fragrant.

In a small bowl, whisk together the expired fish sauce, soy sauce, sugar, and black pepper.
