Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped expired dill pickles
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Water (as needed)

Instructions

In a food processor, combine the drained and rinsed chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, minced garlic, olive oil, chopped expired dill pickles, cumin, salt, and pepper.

Blend until smooth, adding water as needed to achieve the desired consistency.

Taste and adjust the seasonings if needed.

Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
