BBQ Sauce Glazed Ribs
Tender and juicy ribs glazed with slightly expired BBQ sauce.
Ingredients
- 2 racks of baby back ribs
- 1 cup of slightly expired BBQ sauce
- 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
Rub the spice mixture all over the ribs, ensuring they are evenly coated.
Wrap the ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place on a baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 2-2.5 hours, or until the meat is tender and starts to pull away from the bones.
Remove the ribs from the oven and increase the temperature to 450°F (230°C).
Unwrap the ribs and place them back on the baking sheet.
Brush the slightly expired BBQ sauce generously over the ribs, coating both sides.
Return the ribs to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the sauce is slightly caramelized.
Remove from the oven and let the ribs rest for a few minutes.
Serve hot with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
