Ingredients

  • 1 cup slightly expired Barrel Aged Barleywine
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 shallot, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef or vegetable broth
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.

Add shallot and garlic, sauté until fragrant and translucent.

Pour in the slightly expired Barrel Aged Barleywine and bring to a boil.
