Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 3 cups milk
  • 4 tea bags (slightly expired)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

In a saucepan, combine milk, tea bags, sugar, and salt.

Heat the mixture over medium heat until it starts to simmer.

Remove from heat and let the tea bags steep for 10 minutes.

Remove the tea bags and return the saucepan to medium heat.

Add the cooked rice and stir well.

Cook for another 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens.

Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
