Ingredients
- 2 expired tea bags
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons honey or sugar
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 4 whole cloves
- 1-inch fresh ginger, sliced

Instructions

In a small saucepan, combine the water, milk, expired tea bags, cinnamon stick, cloves, and ginger.

Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

Reduce the heat to low and let the chai simmer for 5 minutes.

Remove from heat and let the flavors infuse for an additional 5 minutes.

Strain the chai into mugs, discarding the tea bags and spices.
