
Smoked Salmon Pasta
This recipe transforms expired smoked salmon into a delicious pasta dish, ensuring food safety through proper cooking.
Ingredients
- 200g expired smoked salmon
- 250g pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until the onion is translucent.
Add the expired smoked salmon to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, breaking it into smaller pieces.
Pour in the heavy cream and stir well. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the cream to thicken slightly.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat it evenly with the sauce.
Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the sauce fully coats the pasta.
Serve the smoked salmon pasta hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
