Ingredients
- 1 cup in shell almonds (expired but still safe to consume)
- 1 cup dates, pitted
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a food processor, blend the expired in shell almonds until finely ground.
- Add the dates, cocoa powder, honey, vanilla extract, and salt to the food processor. Process until well combined and sticky.
- Using your hands, shape the mixture into small bite-sized balls.
- Place the almond energy balls in an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
