Pizza Quesadillas
A delicious and easy way to use expired frozen pizza by turning it into cheesy quesadillas.
Ingredients
- 1 frozen pizza (unopened, past expiration date but still safe to consume)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced bell peppers
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup diced red onions
- 1/4 cup sliced pepperoni
- 1/4 cup marinara sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
Preheat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat.
Remove the frozen pizza from its packaging and let it thaw slightly.
Carefully separate the crust from the toppings using a knife or your hands.
Spread marinara sauce evenly over one side of the crust.
Layer mozzarella cheese, bell peppers, black olives, red onions, and pepperoni on top of the sauce.
Place the other half of the pizza crust on top, creating a sandwich.
Brush both sides of the pizza quesadilla with olive oil.
Place the quesadilla in the preheated skillet or griddle and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until the cheese is melted and the crust is crispy.
Remove from heat and let it cool for a minute before cutting into wedges.
Serve hot and enjoy!
