Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 slightly expired melatonin sleep aid tablets, crushed

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, vegetable oil, and eggs.

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

Fold in the crushed melatonin sleep aid tablets.

Line a muffin tin with paper liners and fill each cup about 2/3 full with the batter.

Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
