
Cheesy Ravioli Skillet
Transform slightly expired unopened canned ravioli into a cheesy and flavorful skillet dish. This recipe ensures proper heating and food safety.
Ingredients
- 2 cans of unopened ravioli in sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a skillet, heat the unopened cans of ravioli over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
3. Carefully open the cans and pour the ravioli into the skillet.
4. Sprinkle the dried basil, dried oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper over the ravioli.
5. Stir well to combine the spices with the ravioli.
6. Cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
7. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese on top of the ravioli.
8. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
9. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
