
Mustard Grilled Chicken
A flavorful grilled chicken recipe that uses expired mustard while ensuring food safety.
Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons expired mustard
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
In a small bowl, combine the expired mustard, olive oil, minced garlic, dried thyme, salt, and pepper.
Place the chicken breasts in a shallow dish and pour the mustard mixture over them. Make sure each breast is coated evenly.
Cover the dish and let the chicken marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the remaining marinade.
Grill the chicken breasts for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Remove from the grill and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
Serve hot with your favorite side dishes.
