
Crispy Baked Sweet Potato Fries
A tasty side dish recipe that uses slightly expired Cooking Spray Vegetable Oil Spray. Ensure the sweet potatoes are fresh and safe to consume.
Ingredients
- 2 large sweet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Cooking Spray Vegetable Oil Spray
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
Peel and cut the sweet potatoes into thin fries.
In a large bowl, combine the cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
Add the sweet potato fries to the bowl and toss until evenly coated with the cornstarch mixture.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the coated fries in a single layer.
Generously spray the sweet potato fries with Cooking Spray Vegetable Oil Spray.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
Remove the baking sheet from the oven and flip the fries.
Spray the fries again with Cooking Spray Vegetable Oil Spray.
Bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the fries are crispy and golden brown.
