Brownie Mix Pancakes
Transform expired brownie mix into fluffy pancakes. Ensure food safety by cooking the pancakes thoroughly.
Ingredients
- 1 cup expired brownie mix
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
Instructions
In a large bowl, whisk together the expired brownie mix, all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and granulated sugar.
In a separate bowl, combine the milk, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and eggs. Whisk until well blended.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix; lumps are fine.
Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it with cooking spray or butter.
Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.
Cook until bubbles form on the surface of the pancake and the edges start to set, then flip and cook the other side until golden brown.
Repeat with the remaining batter.
Serve the pancakes warm with your favorite toppings.
Note: Ensure the pancakes are cooked thoroughly to ensure food safety.
Enjoy!
