  • 4 slices of expired brioche
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Butter or oil for cooking
  • Maple syrup and fresh berries for serving

Instructions

In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon.

Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and add a small amount of butter or oil to coat the surface.

Dip each slice of expired brioche into the egg mixture, making sure to coat both sides evenly. Allow excess mixture to drip off.
