
Balut Omelette
Enjoy a delicious omelette using expired Balut Fertilized Duck Eggs, ensuring thorough cooking to guarantee food safety.
Ingredients
- 4 expired Balut Fertilized Duck Eggs (10 days after expiry)
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup diced vegetables (onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, etc.)
- 1/4 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, etc.)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs for garnish (parsley, chives, etc.)
Instructions
Carefully crack open the expired Balut Fertilized Duck Eggs and remove the duck embryos. Discard the shells.
Chop the duck embryos into small pieces and set aside.
In a bowl, whisk together the Balut Fertilized Duck Eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
In a non-stick skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the diced vegetables and chopped Balut Fertilized Duck Egg to the skillet. Sauté until the vegetables are tender.
Pour the egg mixture over the vegetables in the skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes or until the edges start to set.
Sprinkle the shredded cheese over one half of the omelette.
Using a spatula, carefully fold the other half of the omelette over the cheese-filled side.
Continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes or until the cheese melts and the omelette is cooked through.
Garnish with fresh herbs and serve hot.
