Dubliner Cheese and Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breast
A flavorful and safe-to-eat chicken breast stuffed with expired Dubliner Cheese and spinach, cooked thoroughly to ensure food safety.
Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup expired Dubliner Cheese, grated
- 1 cup fresh spinach leaves
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Make a horizontal slit on the side of each chicken breast to create a pocket for stuffing.
In a bowl, mix together the grated Dubliner Cheese, spinach, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
Stuff each chicken breast with the cheese and spinach mixture, dividing it evenly.
Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the stuffed chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side to brown them.
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink in the center.
Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
Slice the stuffed chicken breasts and serve with your choice of sides.
Enjoy!
