  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup buttermilk

Instructions

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.

In a large bowl combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Add buttermilk and stir until a dough forms.

Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead slightly.

Roll dough out to 1 inch thick and cut with biscuit cutter.
