- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 cup expired Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 eggs, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a shallow dish, combine the bread crumbs, expired Parmesan cheese, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
- Dip each chicken breast into the beaten eggs, then coat it with the Parmesan mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Place the coated chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the crust is golden brown.
