Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless chicken breast, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup Tonkatsu sauce (expired but safe)
  • Cooked rice or noodles, for serving

Instructions

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the sliced chicken breast and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil.

Add bell pepper, carrot, onion, and broccoli. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes or until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and pour in the Tonkatsu sauce. Stir well to coat everything evenly.

Continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to combine.

Serve the Tonkatsu Stir-Fry over cooked rice or noodles.
