
Sausage and Vegetable Stir Fry
A quick and easy stir fry recipe that uses expired dry sausage and various vegetables, ensuring safe consumption by thoroughly cooking the sausage.
Ingredients
- 200g expired dry sausage, sliced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 small zucchini, sliced
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Steamed rice, for serving
Instructions
Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
Add the sliced dry sausage to the skillet and stir fry until browned and cooked through.
Add the minced garlic and stir fry for an additional minute.
Add the sliced bell peppers, zucchini, and onion to the skillet. Stir fry for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are crisp-tender.
In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and black pepper.
Pour the sauce mixture over the sausage and vegetables in the skillet. Stir fry for another 2 minutes, ensuring everything is well coated.
Serve the sausage and vegetable stir fry hot over steamed rice.
