Ingredients

  • 200g expired but safe dry angel hair pasta
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 100g broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Boil the angel hair pasta in salted water until al dente, then drain and set aside to dry completely. This can take a few hours or you can leave it overnight.

Once dried, heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the pasta and fry until it becomes crispy. Remove from heat and set aside.

In the same pan, add a bit more oil and sauté the onion and garlic until fragrant.

Add the bell pepper, carrot, and broccoli into the pan and stir-fry for a couple of minutes.

Mix in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar. Stir well to coat the vegetables.

Finally, add the crispy pasta into the pan and toss everything together. Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper.
